NexxStepp was born as a class project for Entrepreneurship 101 at the Northern Caribbean University six years ago. It then morphed into a small business that merged life coaching and academic development in a special blend. Founded out of the personal academic struggle and self-esteem issues faced by current Chief Success Officer, Tishauna Mullings, the brand continues to do this today. As the brand grew, the aim was always to reach unattached youths in St. Thomas and provide sufficient training, education and exposure shaping a successful future through meaningful opportunities. It was not until having the privilege of being a part of the SEBI Incubator though, that we realized that what we are is a social enterprise. Through purpose and passion we are able to educate, empower, engage and empower youths throughout St. Thomas and Jamaica at large. Over the years we have managed to: ● Deliver Quality Education ● Promote Employability in St. Thomas ● Lower rate of Lack of Education in regions of St. Thomas through our Private Tutoring and Saturday Classes ● Provide Meaningful platforms for youths to expose their skills and talents through our yearly competition the Little Genius Show and other media engagements such as radio interview, Smile Jamaica on TVJ and a host of other outings. Today, we work for brands such as the CB Group, The Jamaica Money Market Brokers, The Bank of Jamaica, The British Council, HEART Trust NTA and various government organization deliver coaching, campaigns, trainings and more. We are proud to serve as a placement site for job experience for secondary and tertiary students and unattached youth 18-29 years on various government led job training programs. To date we have served over 150 young people with work experience opportunities. We have served over 760 students in our critical thinking and learning programmes. We currently have several HEART Trust Apprentices with job experience.
